This handmade, bone handle, 8.5” knife is constructed of premium 384 layer Damascus Steel. Made from 1095/15N20 Damascus steel, 1095 steel holds a great edge and is easy to sharpen. The nickel in 15N20 steel resists the acid etch in production and maintains its high end finish. It is a great steel for knife blades. It is very tough and easy to heat treat so consistent dependable quality is assured. This blade has a hardness rating of HRC60.
